Your child will experience the joy of expressing our American freedom through art, music and dance. Singing and dance movement are incorporated to teach the National Anthem. We will perform this together for an audience! Once we've exercised our bodies and our voices, we will continue our patriotic theme with hands-on art activities.

Dancing Kid
Create an American flag. A piece of red construction paper is our base. Your Kid Expert will help your child cut out strips of white construction paper to paste on top of the red. These are our 13 stripes of the American flag!
We also cut out a blue square for the corner of the flag, and glue it on. Then we decorate it with our star stickers! Older children can try to fit 50 stars, younger children can simply focus on the task of manipulating stickers. Go fine motor skills!
Time to create our fireworks. We will start by cutting some lines into the top of a toilet paper roll. Then we cut a slit all the way through.
We roll it tightly and tape it together.
Open up the flaps and dip them into paint.
Stamp the roll onto paper, creating the first layer of our fireworks.
Clean the first color off the stamp, and dip it into a new color. Stamp this over the first color on the paper. Add glitter.
Your child can repeat as many times as they'd like, creating a beautiful collection of fireworks!
