Let's do this!

Favorite and conveniently book Kid Experts for sessions throughout the site.

Children are naturally drawn to musical instruments. Music will encourage creativity and provide stimulation for your little one while substantially improving auditory and language skills. These imaginative activities are curated to inspire your child artistically while also being silly and having fun.

In these music-filled activities, we will learn how to play a variety of instruments, allowing us to graduate from easier instrument play to higher levels of difficulty. After each session, you won't be able to stop taking videos of your little virtuoso showing off their new skills!

As parents, it's important to make sure that activities are age appropriate and that allergies or medical conditions are communicated as you see fit.

Sometimes, a materials or other additional fee is charged. We do this to bring you the best possible activities. It's the Kid Expert's job to confirm any such fee in advance.

Sample Activities and Instructions

Shakers - This introductory activity will present the concept of using movement to make sound. We will sing all your little ones' favorite songs, while using our shakers to keep tempo.
Drums - We will get creative with our drums by using our hands, fingers and different objects to make cool sounds. We will learn about percussion, tempo and rhythm while getting the opportunity to really rock out!
Xylophone - We will use this unique sounding instrument to listen closely to different notes. By playing scales and very basic songs, this activity allows us to practice our auditory and fine motor skills.
Piano - We will tie together the first three activities and practice what we have already learned - keeping tempo and playing notes. Your little one will learn basic conducting techniques (i.e. counting in and the signal for stop) and even more about rhythm and tempo in music.
Guitar - Our first string instrument will introduce yet another way to make beautiful sounds using instruments. We will use our guitar to learn how to use both of our hands for different things - finger placement with one and keeping tempo and strumming with the other.
